Offset printing was integrated into the range of FJ Grafik, Inc. services in the mid-1980’s. At about this time, the company agreed to its first union contract, and has since, been proudly represented by UAW Local 1811, Region 1-C.
Screen Printing was introduced into FJ Grafik, Inc. in the late 1980’s. This allowed the company to satisfy the large percentage of offset printing clients who also had screen printing requirements. An additional result of the availability of both of these services, was a very large increase in the volume of political printing done by the company. Shortly after, FJ Grafik, Inc. acquired its distributorship for printed specialty items, enabling the company to become a truly flexible supplier of printed materials. At this time FJ Grafik, Inc. purchased a 10,000 sq. ft. building in Lennon, Michigan where it is still located. | Page 3
